A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah – I teach Yoga, Pilates, and fitness to women of all ages, with a focus on those who are at a stage in life where they feel called to reconnect with their inner strength and reclaim some much-needed time for themselves.

My Vision & Mission

My vision is for everyone to live a healthier, happier life, to recognise their own potential, and to have the tools and support they need to achieve it.

I’m on a mission to make yoga, fitness, and strength training accessible to all women — empowering them to create space for themselves, reconnect with who they are, and build the health and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges.

My story

As women we juggle lots of different roles, for some of us quite effortlessly throughout our 20’s and 30’s but as we transition into our 40’s and beyond things can start to become a bit more challenging. We are navigate balancing these roles with our changing bodies and hormones. Perimenopuase and menopausal symptoms can creep up on us and we can be left wondering how we gain back some control over our health and wellbeing.

The responsibilities and caregiving we do for others can take priority over our own wellbeing and we can start to lose a sense of who we are, we forget to move ourselves to the front of the line! We can’t support others from a place of lack, so making ourselves and our health a priority is the first step back to empowerment and makes us feel like we are taking back our control.

I have always loved the feeling of finding strength within ourselves from physical movement and it came hand in hand with mental strength for me too.

Back in my 30’s I was a fitness instructor, dancer and personal trainer and only ever dabbled in yoga occasionally for the physical benefits. I had a busy but great life dancing, working, traveling.  I felt confident in my decisions, was always in control and just knew who I was.

Then through a combination of difficult life circumstances, at a time when I was heading into my late forties something just changed in me. I no longer felt so in control of my destiny, or even my body. I became anxious, stressed, angry, emotional, and often overwhelmed. My joints seem to just ache, and I had developed a persistent pain in the top of my head. I  slowly stopped most forms of exercise; I just didn’t feel strong enough mentally or physically and lost the motivation to get started again. It felt like I was on a downward spiral, life had spun me around 360! The unexpected challenge of becoming the sole caregiver for my 8-year-old niece, combined with what I know now were symptoms of perimenopause made me fearful of what the future held. I felt like I had lost all my power and was operating at 50% of who I was!

It was then that I decided to come back to Yoga to seek a gentler form of movement and a sanctuary from the anxiety, stress and worry that I just couldn’t seem to shake off. I bought a yoga course online so that I could do it at home called “The Yoga of Awakening” and that’s where my true journey with yoga began.

Although I was hoping to get some physical relief from my aching joints, what I hadn’t anticipated was the awakening of my soul, the relief it offered me from anxiety and worry.

Through the practice of yoga, I came back to myself and began to step into my power once again. By making myself a priority, I began practicing self-care. I cultivated a mind, body, and spirit connection. I found a kinder and gentler way to treat myself and became more understanding as to how to support myself and others in a more positive way. – Yoga gave me the space that I needed and helped get me back on the road to both physical and mental wellness.

After experiencing the transformative effects of yoga firsthand, I felt inspired to explore the holistic yoga lifestyle more deeply. In 2016, I completed a Yoga Foundation course with Triyoga London, followed by a 200-hour teacher training with the respected Yoga Campus in 2017.

Following my graduation, I began teaching in private studios and gyms, later qualifying in mat Pilates. Today, I blend these disciplines in my work and particularly enjoy supporting private clients one-to-one, incorporating yoga, mindfulness, and Pilates to create a personalised, balanced approach to well-being.

I have been going to Sarah’s classes for nearly 2 years now and she really is a fantastic teacher. She explains everything very clearly and always gives lots of options for you to adapt based on what level you are. I know my technique has improved dramatically since going to her classes…
